Meet Elizabeth (she/her)
Elizabeth will start accepting clients this February!
Elizabeth (Liz) McManus (she/her), CT (Counselor Trainee), is working towards her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Children and Adolescent Specialization from Capella University.
She is passionate about providing trauma-responsive, LGBTQIA+-affirming, neuro-affirming, and disability-affirming care to all populations. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is where change begins, continues, and ends. Play and creativity are paramount therapeutic outlets, regardless of age, and are available to clients interested in such approaches.
Elizabeth aims to work towards filling the pressing need for trauma-informed mental health treatment for neurodivergent populations that focuses on the corrective socio-emotional experience that takes into consideration accommodations and sensory needs.
