Lexys Folsom (she/her) LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Regent School of Clinical Psychology.
Her work as a therapist is centered around a collaborative relationship with her clients. She enjoys working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, loss, life changes, relationship challenges, questions related to self-worth, trauma, and existential questions. She seeks to engage clients in the here and now; inviting them to bring their authentic selves to therapy. She is passionate about growing a judgment-free space to allow each client to build a path forward, leading to growth and healing.
Lexys has undergone extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Her training allows her to care for clients in both creative and effective ways.
Lexys’ primary goal as a clinician is to provide an environment that fosters hope. It is important to her that each client feels heard, valued, and empowered. Lexys hopes that after sessions with her, her clients feel better equipped to handle life’s obstacles!
