Rebecca is passionate about working with individuals impacted by neurodevelopmental differences and has extensive experience working with autistic individuals and those with other developmental exceptionalities. Outside of her work as a counselor and behavior analyst, Rebecca enjoys opportunities to serve as an advocate for individuals and families impacted by disability. Her work as a therapist and behavior analyst centers around her passion for supporting client’s during some of life’s most difficult times, while helping them find solutions they may have not thought possible before. Rebecca’s specializations include Adult Autism Assessment, Parent Training &amp; Applied Behavior Analysis, Family Counseling, Social Skills Training, Special Education Advocacy &amp; Support, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. When she’s not chasing around her 2 young children, Rebecca spends her time supporting staff members of Branches of Behavior, hosting community events and groups, and participating in behavioral and emotional health advocacy efforts. April Gargac (she/her), LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from The Ohio State University. April’s clinical focus is working with individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental differences. She believes therapy is most effective when it is individualized and grounded in each client’s unique interests, strengths, and lived experience. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, her work supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, executive functioning challenges, and life transitions, while fostering self-esteem and greater independence. April’s background includes extensive training and experience supporting neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients and their families. She takes an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based practices, and art-based interventions. She works to meet clients where they are and creatively adapt therapy to meet their needs and goals.  Outside of work, April is often attending concerts, spending time in nature, thrifting or taking care of her two cats, Winnie and Oscar. She also enjoys creative outlets including painting, drawing and crafting.
