Clinical Considerations

All evaluations at Branches of Behavior LLC begin with a 2 visit Psychiatric Diagnostic Assessment and are followed up by a Next Steps & Clinical Recommendations session. Our team at Branches of Behavior LLC has specialized training, experience, and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder and other related conditions.

Prospective evaluation clients must be at least 19 years of age.

Clients coming in for evaluation should be prepared for the possibility that they do not meet criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and be open to the clinical expertise and feedback of the evaluating clinicians.

Our team is careful to consider and screen for related conditions and other sources of signs and symptoms that may resemble autism.

Our team at Branches of Behavior LLC is in-network with many commercial insurance plans, CareSource Medicaid, and provides out-of-network services.

What Can I Expect?

• Trauma-informed & culturally-sensitive approach

• Multiple self-report & informant measures

• Review of relevant educational, social, & medical history

• 2-4 x 50 minute meetings with the evaluating clinician

• In-person and virtual sessions completed via our HIPPA-compliant electronic health records platform

• 2-4 week waiting period between inquire and scheduling

Please note, we recommend our evaluation process to those seeking to further understand themselves and their possible autism spectrum disorder and/or neurodiversity. Our evaluation process does not include a full Psychological Evaluation or Report. If you are seeking evaluation in effort to qualify for disability services or financial assistance, we recommend you consult a local Psychologist. We are happy to provide referrals to meet your needs!
